Fallon is the seat of Churchill County, with about 9,500 residents in roughly 3,800 households at about 3,965 feet. It is the farthest of the Lahontan Valley towns from our Sparks warehouse, and its high renter share points to a place where many households are in transit. ## A renter-heavy town Nearly half of Fallon households rent, a higher share than Fernley or Dayton. Renting households have fixed lease dates and little space, and moves often come with short notice. Storage lets a family move out on the lease date and settle the next place on its own timeline. ## Naval Air Station Fallon The naval air station is a major local employer, and orders can bring a household to Fallon or take it away on a set schedule. O'Brien's is DOD approved to move and store military household goods. Booking a military move starts with the installation transportation office, and the [NAS Fallon page](https://obriensmoving-storage.com/military-moving/nas-fallon/) and the [military storage](https://obriensmoving-storage.com/full-service-storage/military-storage/) page explain the details. ## The longest drive of the valley The Sparks warehouse is about 61 miles and 77 minutes from Fallon. The crew loads at your home and brings the vaults to Sparks in one trip. Plan the packing day with the drive in mind, and check NV Roads in winter. ## Vaults in the warehouse The crew packs and loads your things into wooden vaults, each 7 ft x 7 ft x 5 ft, and stacks them in the 30,000 sq ft warehouse in Sparks. Vault storage starts at $40 per month, and stored goods ship with about 2 to 3 weeks notice. ## Who stores in Fallon - Renters between leases - Households in transition between assignments - Owners remodeling or selling - Families downsizing ## Free estimate The in-home estimate is free and comes with 10 free heavy-duty boxes.
