Incline Village is a lakeshore community of about 9,300 people in roughly 4,000 households at about 6,823 feet on Lake Tahoe's Nevada North Shore. Only about 29 percent of households rent, and the Census shows the community has one of the largest shares of part-time homes of any place in our service area. ## A second-home town When four in ten housing units are seasonal or occasional-use homes, a large share of the furniture on the hill belongs to someone who is not there all year. Those homes get refurnished, listed, inherited and reorganized like any other. Vault storage gives owners somewhere to put the furniture that comes out. It also gives a second-home owner a clean place to hold pieces between seasons. ## The mountain road to Sparks The warehouse in Sparks is about 33 miles and 48 minutes from Incline Village. The crew loads at your home and brings the vaults to the warehouse in one trip. In winter the mountain road can slow or close. NV Roads and the National Weather Service forecast show conditions, and a packing day can move by a day without much trouble if you flag it early. ## Homes with a lot to hold Lakeshore homes often hold large furniture, art and outdoor equipment. Wooden vaults measure 7 ft x 7 ft x 5 ft and take furniture of nearly any size once it is wrapped. Fine art and antiques are part of our service list, and the estimator explains how those pieces are wrapped and loaded. ## Remodels on the hill Renovation is constant in Incline Village. A project that clears a floor for weeks or months needs somewhere for the furniture to go. Vaults take it, and the crew brings it back when the work is done. The [storage during a remodel](https://obriensmoving-storage.com/full-service-storage/storage-during-a-remodel/) page lays out the sequence. ## Vault terms - Storage from $40 per month - About 2 to 3 weeks notice to ship stored goods - Free in-home estimate - 10 free heavy-duty boxes with the estimate ## Get started Estimators visit Incline Village for the free estimate.
