It is also one of the longer drives from our yard, which is why this page spends time on the road. ## One valley, one highway The Pyramid Highway, State Route 445, is the road into Spanish Springs, and the crew drives about 10 of the 14.7 miles on it. At 28 minutes, the trip is the longest of any Sparks neighborhood, so we plan it as part of the job rather than a footnote. Loads are sequenced so the truck leaves full. If you plan to store goods, ask about timing: the warehouse is half an hour away, and the crew can load a vault the same afternoon. Commute traffic goes the other way in the morning and toward Spanish Springs in the evening.
