Bring proof of address, your Nevada title and proof of insurance, and expect residential parking permits to be a separate step. ## Taxes: 10.75 percent at the top The Office of Tax and Revenue lists the highest bracket at 10.75 percent, the top step of a graduated schedule. The general sales tax rate stays at 6 percent through September 30, 2027, after a planned increase was postponed. Nevada has no state personal income tax, so the contrast is sharp.
