Do not wait for the truck to unload before you start; the license rule applies from the day you establish residency. ## Missouri's tax rates Missouri's individual income tax has graduated brackets topping at 4.7 percent for 2026, according to the Department of Revenue's rate history. Further cuts to 4.6 and 4.5 percent come only if revenue triggers under a 2022 law are met. The state sales tax is 4.225 percent, and local sales taxes add to it. Nevada has no state personal income tax, so Missouri withholding is new, though its top rate is below those of several states in this series.
