Annual precipitation is 46.07 inches, and snow averages 5.2 inches. Reno's January high is 47.7. Summer thunderstorms are the planning point for delivery day. Keep a tarp or a covered entry in mind, and ask the crew to pad furniture for a wet walk from the truck. ## North Carolina's rules for new residents NCDMV says a person has 60 days after establishing a permanent residence in North Carolina to get a North Carolina driver license and to title and register vehicles. NCDMV also notes that registration can fall due sooner, when you accept work in the state or when the reciprocity period with the prior state ends, so check the agency page for your case. North Carolina's individual income tax is a flat 3.99 percent for tax years beginning after 2025, with more cuts scheduled if revenue triggers are met. The state sales rate is 4.75 percent, and local and transit rates add to it.
