Yuba City and Marysville face each other across the Feather River, and together they form a small metro in the Sacramento Valley farm belt. They sit below the Reno metro's $502,300 median home value, which is why some households weigh a move to the valley when they want a lower-cost market. ## Heat, fog and farm-country weather The Marysville airport station lists a January high of 55.5 degrees, a January low of 38.2, a July high of 96.2 and a July low of 60.7, with 20.07 inches of precipitation a year. NOAA does not publish a snowfall figure for that station. Reno's July low is 60.4 degrees, so summer nights are about as cool in Yuba City while the days run hotter. The base statewide sales and use tax is 7.25 percent, and districts can add up to 2.00 points. I peeked in the truck about an hour into the job and was amazed at how well organized it was and how many of my things had protective coverings. Our bed is a mechanical one and a nightmare to us, but these guys had no issue with it at all. Although I have no desire to ever move again--but if I did, I would be calling these guys for sure!!!
