Bekins Van Lines was founded in 1891 and works through a national network of local agents. O'Brien's is the Bekins agent at 2277 Glendale Ave in Sparks, and Bekins lists the company on its own agent pages.
What a Bekins agent does
A local agent is the face of the van line in its town. For an interstate move from Northern Nevada, O'Brien's does the in-home estimate for your home here, packs if you want packing, can store your goods in our Sparks warehouse, and loads your shipment for the Bekins network to carry to your new home.
Why it matters for your move
- One local company you can call before, during and after the move
- A national network for the long haul
- Storage in Sparks if your new home is not ready
- The federal paperwork for an interstate move, explained by the estimator
65 years and counting
In 2019 Bekins recognized O'Brien's for 65 years of service, and the plaque hangs in our office. The company has also received Bekins awards over the years, listed on our awards page.

Greg S.
3 O'Brien movers came down from Reno to South Lake Tahoe to assist our company moving a lot of big furniture out of a large warehouse. They showed up on-time, were friendly, and were professional and got the job done quickly and diligently. Will definitely use them again.
