Harry and Bernice O'Brien started the company in a small garage on Sierra Street in Reno. Harry was known around town as the Smiling Irishman. More than 80 years later the business is at 2277 Glendale Ave in Sparks, where the office, the truck yard and a 30,000 square foot warehouse share one site.
After the move to Glendale Ave, Sean O'Brien ran the company. His sons Tim, Luke and Joe are the third generation. When you call, you talk to our office, and the people who come to your home for an estimate are Sean, Luke, Christa and Janet.

We move households across Northern Nevada and the Lake Tahoe area, and we move people long distance through the Bekins Van Lines network. We pack, crate and move specialty items such as pianos, pool tables, hot tubs, fine art and antiques. We store household and business goods in wooden vaults in our Sparks warehouse.
For businesses we move offices, labs and warehouses, and we receive, store, deliver and install furniture for hotels, restaurants, dormitories, hospitals, senior living communities and interior designers. We are DOD approved to move and store military household goods.
