O'Brien's moves offices with on-site move management, and crews can work evenings, weekends and holidays by arrangement so your staff keep working. The plan starts with a walk through your space, and the written estimate lists the scope.
An office move is a schedule problem as much as a lifting problem. Desks must be disconnected and reconnected, files must stay in order, phones and computers must work Monday morning, and the lease on the old suite is running out. O'Brien's commercial crews move offices of many sizes around Reno, Sparks and Carson City and plan the work so downtime stays short.
What an office move includes
An office move can cover workstations and desks, filing cabinets, conference tables, break-room furniture, boxed supplies and files, and computer equipment. The crew labels each piece by destination, so a desk lands in the right room of the new suite and the same goes for every box.
Packing is part of the plan. Staff pack their own desk contents into numbered cartons, or the crew packs for them, and the estimate says which. See packing services for the options.
Workstations, desks and cabinets
Conference and break-room furniture
Files and boxed supplies
Computer equipment and phones, moved with your IT contact
Placement by floor plan
Cardboard boxes, a filing cabinet and a plastic-wrapped office chair ready for an office move
On-site move management
On larger jobs, a move manager is on site to direct the crew, answer questions and keep the sequence on schedule. The manager works from your floor plan and your list of departments, and is the person your office manager talks to during the move.
Offices often cannot close for a day. Commercial crews work evenings, weekends and holidays by arrangement, so you can pack up Friday afternoon and open Monday in the new space. Schedules are set when the estimate is agreed. For details see after-hours and weekend commercial moves.
Planning timeline
Call the office or request a commercial estimate and describe the space.
An estimator walks both locations or reviews the floor plans.
You receive an itemized written estimate.
Staff label and pack desks, and the IT contact schedules the equipment.
The crew moves and sets up each department, and the move manager confirms placement.

We were referred to O'Brien's Moving and Storage though a friend in Reno. We couldn't be more pleased with the Professionalism and Service. They were quick to set up Luke to come out and give us a quote and scheduled the actual move date right away. Luke was on time for our quote as were the movers on our moving day. All three of the gentlemen who moved us were professional and courteous from start to finish. From the initial phone call to the completion of our move, we felt like we were treated as family. We would definitely use them again and recommend O'Brien's Moving and Storage to our friends in the future.

Francie, Thank you for this amazing review. The result you have expressed is exactly what we all strive to accomplish. I love that you walked away knowing you are now a part of the O'Brien's family, whenever you need us we are a phone call away! I will let the movers know about the kind words expressed about them, that will be very satisfying for all of them. We will look forward to any referrals you send our way, thank you for the opportunity!
