Stateline is a small Nevada community on Lake Tahoe's South Shore, with about 500 residents in roughly 250 households at about 6,241 feet. The Census puts the renter share above nine in ten, so a household here almost always has a lease with an end date.
At 92 percent, Stateline is unlike the owner towns of the Carson Valley. A household with a lease that ends on the 31st and a new place that opens on the 15th has two weeks to fill.
Storage handles the gap. The crew picks up on the lease date, and the vaults go to the warehouse until the new address is ready.
